"Everything in politics starts with an idea"
Did you know? That 4 out of 7 commitments in the Party’s election manifesto could be traced back to ideas proposed by CPF members.
The Conservative Policy Forum is the link between the grassroots members, our local communities and Ministers and the Conservative Party Policy Unit, by providing regular feedback on our policy discussions and ideas.
Participation in a local Conservative Policy Forum event ensures your voice and ideas are not just heard, but has also made a real difference right at the heart of Government and future Conservative policy-making.
Open to all who want to help shape our future policies, the Conservative Policy Forum is about democratising the work of policy making by actively encouraging the ideas of members and members of the local community alike.
Ideas, Discussion and feedback from Senior Politicians:
Our local Policy Forum groups discuss a range of issues and try to come up with innovative ideas to take Britain forward. Topics under discussion include housing, re-balancing the economy and youth unemployment and many more. The responses of these local discussions are collated and fed back to Ministers who then respond to the proposals.
From Consultation to Policy Action:
National Consultations in turn result in Briefing Papers, which are instrumental in shaping our future policies, see our past briefing papers at: https://www.conservativepolicyforum.com/past-papers
