Frances Lasok works in regional devolution, getting more powers and funding placed in the hands of local people to make local decisions. Before that, she worked in tech, supporting the most innovative companies in the UK. Her priorities include jobs, skills and supporting business and culture.
Frances says: "I learnt about political conviction from my grandmother Sheila, a teacher who grew up in Heaton. She taught me about integrity, and about fighting your corner - and that's the skillset I'll bring to politics."
